Triode-type electron gun modulator
As described on the product page.Strain gage amplifier
For one of our clients we developed a custom strain gage amplifier with digital interface. A compact, USB-powered device incorporates two strain gage channels with selectable full/half/quarter-bridge operation, two selectable ranges, auto-zero and auto-calibration, and with built-in precision resistors for 120/350/1000-Ohm quarter-bridges. Further, it’s equipped with an analog input (0-5V range) and one digital input with up/down counter for quadrature position or angle encoder. We also prepared data acquisition procedures for Matlab to operate the device from PC with user’s custom applications.
High-voltage power supply
Miontech has developed a four-channel high voltage power supply (4x +/- 1 kV, 4x 10 mA, common ground) with independent control over each channel, including polarity selection. The power supply is remotely controllable over RS-232 and USB ports. It is also equipped with a local interface with keyboard and alphanumeric display.
GEM – a complete system for DAQ and control
Miontech has designed and built a modular system for control and data acquisition for detectors for digital radiography, using GEM (Gas Electron Multiplier) technology. The system incorporated charge-sensitive amplifiers, analog-to-digital converters, high voltage power supply with voltage divider, gas flow control system and circuits for control of stepper motors.
System for detecting the threat to the life of swimmers by drowning
We have prepared a feasibility analysis for a system for detecting the threat to the life of swimmers from drowning in a body of water. We have developed and patented the concept of a system and devices operating within it for detecting threats in swimming pools or bathing areas in natural waters (Polish patents no. P-425952 and P-425953). For this concept, we have conducted - for our own needs - a profitability analysis of implementing the solution into production.
Portable sound system with support for multiple audio sources
We prepared a cost analysis of developing and implementing a sound system with support for multiple sound sources and the ability to mix channels - a solution that met the specific requirements of the client. This study showed that with the assumed low-volume production, the unit cost would be unacceptably high. Thanks to our help, the client was able to make a decision supported by numbers to abandon the project.
Apple grader controller
Our customer has been using a heavy-duty apple grader developed in 1980s. While the mechanical part of the machine was still operating very well after around 30 years of use, the condition of the electronic control unit was poor and the controller eventually stopped working. Given that spare parts were extremely hard to reach and expensive, we proposed to build a new controller using today’s technology. We left the power supply, tensometers and power elements, but changed all control circuits. The original system consisting of three PCBs (one for processor, one for memory and one for ADC) was exchanged to a single PCB with modern STM-32 MCU, graphic LCD display and interactive user interface. Besides the restoration of original functionality, the device has now an intuitive interface with the possibility of accurate machine calibration, storing the settings and statistics and optional data interchange with PC.
EMC measurement station for small electronic devices
For our client, we delivered an integrated measurement station for EMC testing of small electronic devices.
Photoacoustic spectroscope controller programming and configuration system
For our client we delivered a multi-station system for functional testing and calibration of a photoacoustic head controller.
Multi-channel system for functional testing and calibration of controllers
For our client, we delivered a multi-channel system for functional testing and calibration of the indicated controller family along with control software.
The library system with support for barcode readers
For one of our clients we developed an information system for libraries which is equipped with bar code readers for quick and easy handling of lent and returned books. The system is able to use informations encoded in Japanese alphabets.
Dose meter for linear accelerators
We are a manufacturer of dose meters for medical and industrial accelerators produced by ZdAJ – HITEC Poland and for experimental accelerators built by Polish National Centre for Nuclear Research. Since 2011 we supply complete boards. As a part of the production, we provide checks, initial calibration, warranty and after-sales service, as well as assistance with final tuning the circuits on accelerator.
Picoscopes
For our client, we have prepared an automatic data acquisition system based on Pico picoscopes and dedicated control and data acquisition software.
